The 10 Lap Driving School is Team Texas's entry-level drive experience and the most popular way to get behind the wheel of a real NASCAR Cup Series race car at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, TX. **Here's what your day looks like:** Your experience begins with a 30-minute training session led by David Starr — a 27-year NASCAR veteran with 4 career wins — where you'll learn how to handle an authentic NASCAR Cup Series race car and complete your certification. Once you pass, you'll be geared up in a professional fire suit and helmet before climbing into the driver's seat of a race car powered by a Richard Childress Racing engine. With a professional instructor riding alongside you, you'll build speed lap by lap — reaching up to 150 mph — while learning the racing line on TMS's 1.5-mile oval with 24-degree banked turns.
